Where applicable and possible,
this site references drivers that are associated with the supplier
and/or the individual product. If you are seeking a driver for
a particular touch device these are the steps you should follow:
• If you know the supplier
Identify
the supplier from the Suppliers search
menu item. When viewing a supplier’s entry there will be links
under the Software heading, as per the following example:

These links relate to the Native
software supplied by the supplier, a Touch-Base link referring to Touch-Base
drivers and additional software information. The text of these links
will vary as described below:

• If the supplier software link does not help
but you know the product
When viewing the supplier’s
products, either from the supplier’s page or directly via the
Products menu selection, the product’s short description is
shown.

If the short description ends with more… then
additional information is available. This additional information
may also contain details of the actual touch controller in use, e.g.

This is especially useful if you
have a known touch product and you are trying to identify the actual
controller in use.
• Supplier / product unknown
or information does not help identify driver
In the situation where the supplier
or product is unknown or the existing software information
is inadequate then you will need to identify the controller in use as
described in the Touch-Base document shown here.
If you require further assistance to help identify the controller from
the information gleaned then send
the information to Touch-Base that may be able to assist further.
• Request assistance in identifying
the device in use
If all fails and you are unable
to identify the device or locate the driver and need
further assistance contact
Touch-Base with as many details as possible that may help us identify
the touch device in use.
Once we have identified
a supplier’s or product’s drivers we will update the TouchIT
entries accordingly. Should you independently locate
the appropriate driver we would be grateful if you could
pass on the information to
the TouchIT site administrator to allow us to update
the relevant entries to assist future visitors looking for drivers. |
